Crispy oven-baked chicken wings tossed in a spicy, sticky honey garlic glaze with fresh cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken wings, skin-on
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
  2. Whisk together paprika, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, lemon juice, baking powder, and corn flour in a large bowl, then toss wings in the mixture and let sit for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and place a wire rack over a foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Arrange wings on the rack, ensuring they do not touch, and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake for an additional 10 minutes, flipping once, then broil for 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, add garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Stir in sriracha, honey, and chili flakes, simmering for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  8. Toss the hot crispy wings in the sauce, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve immediately.
