No-Knead Artisan Bread by Mydarr

Crusty, golden-brown artisan loaf with an airy, open crumb and a crisp, crackling exterior finish.

Ingredients

  • 375g (3 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 355ml (1 1/2 cup) warm water (110°f)

Instructions

  1. Whisk flour, salt, and yeast together in a large mixing bowl until evenly combined.
  2. Pour in warm water and stir with a spatula or wooden spoon until a shaggy, sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let the dough rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours until doubled in size and bubbly.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside for 30 minutes.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, gently shape into a ball, and place onto a piece of parchment paper until ready to serve.
  6. Carefully lift the dough into the preheated Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the crust is deep golden brown and crisp.
