Crispy Milanesa Tacos by Munchieslabs

Crispy breaded beef cutlets tucked into warm tortillas with creamy fresh guacamole and golden fries.

Ingredients

  • 450g (1 lb) thin-sliced beef (top round or sirloin)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 medium potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the beef cutlets with salt and pepper, then dip each piece into the beaten eggs followed by the breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to coat.
  2. Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry the beef for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Fry the potato strips in the same oil or a separate deep fryer for 8-10 minutes until golden and tender.
  4. Mash the avocados in a bowl with a pinch of salt to create the fresh guacamole.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for 30 seconds per side until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a strip of crispy milanesa into each tortilla, topping with a spoonful of guacamole, and serving with fries on the side.
