Tender glazed chicken served over ramen noodles in a savory, creamy tahini and chili broth.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 packet ramen seasoning packet
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp chili crisp
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp honey
  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine the chicken thighs with salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, white pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and ginger in a bowl; marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the chicken in a pan over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden brown, then slice into strips.
  3. Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions, reserving 1 cup of the starchy cooking water
  4. Whisk the ramen seasoning packet, grated garlic, tahini, chili crisp, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey in a serving bowl
  5. Slowly whisk in 1/2 cup of the hot reserved noodle water into the bowl to create a creamy, emulsified broth
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the broth and top with the sliced chicken, shredded cabbage, soft-boiled egg, green onions, and sesame seeds.
