Dairy-Free Date Caramel Sauce by Mobilityprotein
Naturally sweet, creamy caramel made from blended dates — no dairy needed.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted (about 10–12 dates)
- 1/2 cup warm water (plus more to adjust consistency)
- 2 tbsp coconut cream or full-fat coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Soak pitted Medjool dates in warm water for 5–10 minutes until softened, then drain, reserving the soaking water.
- Add softened dates, coconut cream, vanilla extract, and salt to a high-speed blender or food processor.
- Blend on high for 1–2 minutes, scraping down the sides, until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add reserved soaking water 1 tablespoon at a time and blend until you reach a thick, pourable caramel consistency.
- Taste and adjust salt or vanilla as needed, then transfer to a sealed jar.
- Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze in portions for up to 3 months. Warm briefly before serving if needed.
