Chocolate Mousse With Boiled Eggs by Michelachiappa

Smooth, indulgent chocolate mousse made with hard-boiled eggs, cocoa, and milk.

Ingredients

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey, or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Fresh strawberries or raspberries, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and place them in a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the caster sugar, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, and milk.
  3. Blend on high for at least 1 minute, until completely smooth and fluffy.
  4. Taste the mixture and blend in a little more maple syrup or cocoa powder if needed.
  5. Spoon the mousse into small dishes.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, then top with berries if using.
