Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup fresh mango, diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices in a toaster or pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. Mash the avocado in a small bowl with half of the lime juice and a pinch of salt until creamy but slightly chunky.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread slices until ready to serve.
  4. Top the avocado with the diced fresh mango, distributing it evenly across both slices until ready to serve.
  5. Sprinkle with the remaining lime juice, chopped cilantro, and red chili flakes before serving immediately until ready to serve.
