Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure a better sear over medium-high heat until browned, about 4 min.
  2. Combine the paprika, oregano, parsley, basil, garlic powder, and salt in a small bowl until ready to serve.
  3. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and coat evenly with the seasoning mixture until ready to serve.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Place chicken in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the exterior is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the pan and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
