- 1 box Shake 'n Bake coating mix

- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. If using chicken breasts, lightly pound them to an even thickness (about 1 inch) to ensure uniform cooking.
- Place the prepared chicken breasts on the foil-lined baking sheet. Season both sides of the chicken lightly with salt and pepper.
- Spread a thin, even layer of mayonnaise over one side of each chicken breast. The mayonnaise acts as a binder and helps keep the chicken moist.
- Open the Shake 'n Bake coating mix and pour it into a shallow dish or the provided Shake 'n Bake bag. Transfer one mayonnaise-coated chicken breast to the coating mix.
- Generously coat the chicken breast with the Shake 'n Bake, pressing the breading firmly into the chicken to ensure it adheres well. Flip the chicken and repeat the mayonnaise and coating process on the other side.
- Place the coated chicken back on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring pieces are not touching. Repeat with remaining chicken breasts.
