Italian Ciabatta Sandwich with ciabatta roll olive oil and pesto finished with fresh herbs and citrus.

Ingredients
- 1 ciabatta roll
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp pesto
- 1/2 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 oz prosciutto
- 2 oz salami
- 4 oz mozzarella, torn
- 1 cup rocket
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 5-6 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Slice the ciabatta roll in half horizontally.
- Drizzle olive oil on the bottom half and spread with pesto.
- Arrange tomato slices on the bottom half and season with salt and pepper.
- Tear and layer the mozzarella over the tomatoes.
- Layer on the prosciutto and salami.
- Add a generous amount of rocket.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Finish with fresh basil leaves.
- Close the sandwich and cut in half to serve.
