Tandoori Chicken Thighs I Make Every Long Weekend by Maxy69838

Yoghurt and tandoori-spiced chicken thighs, charred over the coals.

Ingredients
- 8 bone-in chicken thighs, skin on
- 200g natural yoghurt
- 2 tbsp tandoori masala
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges (to serve)
Instructions
- Slash each chicken thigh a couple of times through the skin so the marinade gets in.
- Mix the yoghurt, tandoori masala, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, salt and oil into a thick deep-red marinade.
- Coat the thighs all over and leave to marinate at least 30 minutes (longer if you have time).
- Grill over medium coals, turning, for about 18 to 20 minutes until charred outside and cooked through.
- Rest a couple of minutes and serve with lemon wedges.
