Sticky Honey Garlic Salmon, Ready in 15 by Maxy69838

Pan-seared salmon in a sticky honey garlic glaze, ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • spring onion and sesame seeds to finish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry, season, and sear skin-side down in the oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 min until crisp, then flip for 2 min more and lift out.
  2. Lower the heat, melt the butter and soften the garlic for 30 seconds until just golden.
  3. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and chilli flakes and let it bubble into a glossy glaze for 1-2 min.
  4. Return the salmon, spoon the glaze over and let it cook 1-2 min until sticky and just cooked through.
  5. Scatter over spring onion and sesame seeds and serve with rice or greens.
