Sticky Bourbon Ribs Worth the Napkins by Maxy69838

Slow-cooked pork ribs in a sticky bourbon barbecue glaze, charred on the grill.

Ingredients
- 1 rack pork ribs (about 1kg)
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 100ml bourbon
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 3 tbsp brown sugar (for the glaze)
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (for the glaze)
Instructions
- Rub the ribs all over with the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Cook low over indirect heat (or wrapped in foil) for about an hour until the meat is tender and pulling from the bone.
- Simmer the bourbon, ketchup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, Worcestershire and paprika in a small pan until sticky and glossy.
- Brush the ribs all over with the glaze and grill over direct heat for a few minutes a side until lacquered and charred.
- Rest for 5 min, slice between the bones and serve with the extra glaze.
