Honey Soy Sticky Wings I Cook by the Tray by Maxy69838

Grilled chicken wings tossed in a sticky honey soy garlic glaze with sesame.

Ingredients

  • 1kg chicken wings, split
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 thumb ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 spring onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Toss the wings with the vegetable oil and a pinch of salt.
  2. Grill over medium coals, turning every few minutes, until the skin is crisp and golden, about 20 minutes.
  3. Simmer the honey, soy, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar and sesame oil in a small pan until sticky and glossy.
  4. Toss the cooked wings through the warm glaze until fully coated.
  5. Pile onto a board, scatter with sesame seeds and spring onions, and serve.
