Garlic Butter Prawn Skewers, Gone in Sixty Seconds by Maxy69838

Large prawns threaded on skewers and grilled in garlic chilli butter.

Ingredients
- 500g large raw prawns, peeled and deveined
- 50g butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges (to serve)
- 8 metal or soaked bamboo skewers
Instructions
- If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes so they do not burn.
- Melt the butter with the crushed garlic, olive oil, chilli flakes and salt to make a garlic butter.
- Thread the prawns onto the skewers, three or four per stick, and brush with half the garlic butter.
- Grill over hot coals for about 2 to 3 minutes a side until pink and lightly charred.
- Brush with the rest of the garlic butter, scatter with parsley and serve with lemon.
