Garlic Butter Prawn Pasta in 15 Minutes by Maxy69838

Garlicky lemon butter prawns tossed through silky pasta in 15 minutes.

Ingredients
- 200g linguine or spaghetti
- 250g raw king prawns, peeled
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
- a mug of reserved pasta water
- small handful parsley, chopped
- 30g grated parmesan
- salt, black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in well-salted water until just shy of al dente, and save a mug of the pasta water before draining.
- Melt the butter with the olive oil, add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook for a minute until fragrant.
- Add the prawns and cook 2 min each side until just pink, then stir in the lemon zest and juice.
- Toss in the drained pasta with a good splash of pasta water and swirl until glossy and coating.
- Off the heat stir through the parmesan and parsley, season well, and finish with an extra squeeze of lemon.
