Classic Beef Chili by Martinsternbergs
Hearty ground beef simmered with aromatic spices, diced tomatoes, and tender kidney beans in a sauce.

Ingredients
- 500g (1.1 lb) ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 400g (14 oz) canned diced tomatoes
- 400g (14 oz) canned kidney beans, drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and add the ground beef, browning for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
- Add the diced onion to the pot and sauté for 5 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and chili powder, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the canned tomatoes and kidney beans, season with salt and pepper, and stir to combine.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors meld and the sauce thickens.
