Homemade Piadina by Manuelughetti

Traditional Italian flatbread, soft and pliable, perfect for folding with savory fillings and cheeses.

Ingredients

  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 3g salt
  • 7g olive oil
  • 50g warm water

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, oil, and warm water in a medium mixing bowl until ready to serve.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms and knead into a smooth ball.
  3. Wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough out into a thin circle on a lightly floured surface until ready to serve.
  5. Cook the piadina in a hot non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes per side, until golden brown spots appear.
