Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta by Manda Panda Eats
Succulent shrimp tossed in a velvety Cajun-spiced cream sauce, served over perfectly al dente pasta.

Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 350g (12 oz) penne or fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp cajun seasoning
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 240ml (1 cup) heavy cream
- 50g (1/2 cup) parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Toss the shrimp in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; sear shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then remove from skillet.
- Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet, stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and remaining 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, simmering for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, then return the shrimp to the pan.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing thoroughly for 1-2 minutes to coat, then serve immediately garnished with parsley.
