Turkish Chicken Tantuni by Mahsazandi Org
Succulent sautéed chicken breast with fresh tomatoes and charred green peppers, served in soft lavash.

Ingredients
- 500g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, finely diced
- 3 medium tomatoes, finely diced
- 3 green peppers, finely sliced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (pul biber)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 lavash bread
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large flat pan or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
- Add the finely diced chicken and sauté for 8-10 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Stir in the green peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and spices, stirring well to combine until ready to serve.
- Simmer the mixture for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes break down and form a light sauce coating the chicken.
- Warm the lavash bread by pressing it briefly onto the surface of the chicken mixture in the pan to absorb the juices until ready to serve.
- Spoon the chicken mixture into the center of each lavash, roll tightly, and serve immediately until ready to serve.
