Cake-Filled Ice Cream Cones by Madisoneats

Individual cake portions baked directly into crisp ice cream cones for a portable, fork-free dessert.

Ingredients
- 1 box (approx 450g) prepared cake batter (any flavor)
- 12 flat-bottomed ice cream cones
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Tear a piece of aluminum foil large enough to cover the top of a 12-cup muffin pan.
- Press the foil tightly over the muffin pan, molding it into each cavity.
- Cut an 'X' shape into the foil over each muffin well using a sharp knife.
- Gently twist an ice cream cone into each 'X' slit until it sits securely in the well.
- Spoon the cake batter into each cone, filling them about 2/3 of the way full.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before adding frosting or decorations.
