Miznon-Style Blanched Green Beans by Madelinethekitchen
Crisp, vibrant green beans blanched to perfection, ideal for a quick and fresh vegetable side.

Ingredients
- 500g (1 lb) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp kosher salt (for boiling water)
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt (for finishing)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat and add the kosher salt.
- Add the trimmed green beans to the boiling water and cook for 5-6 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Drain the beans immediately and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process
- Pat the beans dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- Toss the blanched beans with olive oil and a generous sprinkle of flaky sea salt before serving.
