The most successful fluffy pancakes with this simple and quick recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1.25 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until ready to serve.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth and just combined; do not overmix.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake until ready to serve.
  5. Cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
