Gochujang Miso Chicken by Lucy Rosenberg Food Lover

Tender chicken glazed in a savory-sweet gochujang and miso sauce, served over steamed rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast, cut into 2 pieces
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp white shiro miso paste
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, miso paste, and honey in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in the sauce and marinate for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add the chicken along with the sauce.
  4. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, turning once, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has reduced to a thick glaze.
  5. Serve the chicken over a bowl of steamed rice, pouring the remaining pan broth over the top
