10-Minute One-Pot Garlic Butter Pasta by Lillychilioil
Tender pasta tossed in a silky garlic butter sauce with sharp parmesan and a spicy kick.

Ingredients
- 250g (8 oz) spaghetti or linguine
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large skillet or wide pan, then add the pasta and salt
- Cook the pasta for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until al dente and most of the water has evaporated, leaving about 1/4 cup in the pan.
- Reduce heat to low and add the butter, sliced garlic, and red pepper flakes directly into the skillet.
- Toss the pasta vigorously for 1-2 minutes until the butter melts and emulsifies with the pasta water to create a glossy sauce.
- Remove from heat, stir in the parmesan cheese until smooth, and serve immediately.
