One-Pot Ground Turkey Pasta by Lemons And Zest
Savory ground turkey and tender pasta simmered in a creamy tomato sauce with fresh baby spinach.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 8 oz medium shell pasta, uncooked
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 14.5 oz crushed tomatoes
- 2 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cup baby spinach
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add ground turkey to the pot and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, for 5-6 minutes until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and tomato paste, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and uncooked pasta, stirring to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
- Remove the lid, stir in heavy cream, parmesan, and baby spinach, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted and the sauce is creamy.
- Serve warm topped with fresh basil if desired.
