Loaded Italian-Style Deli Sub by Leannwilliamsss
Layered deli meats and crispy bacon on a toasted sub roll with fresh garden vegetables.

Ingredients
- 2 sub rolls, halved
- 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
- 150g (5 oz) turkey lunch meat
- 100g (3.5 oz) salami, thinly sliced
- 100g (3.5 oz) pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 4 slices provolone or swiss cheese
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 0.5 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 0.25 cup italian olive salad (giardiniera)
- 1 tbsp sub oil or extra virgin olive oil
- 0.5 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Slice tomatoes and onions; season them in a small bowl with lemon pepper, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Layer the turkey, salami, and pepperoni onto the sub rolls, followed by the cheese slices.
- Toast the sub rolls in an oven or toaster oven at 180°C (350°F) for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bread is warm.
- Top the toasted sandwiches with the seasoned tomatoes, onions, shredded lettuce, and crispy bacon.
- Drizzle with sub oil and top with the Italian olive salad before closing and serving.
