Ingredients

  • 12 dinner rolls, store-bought frozen
  • 12 smoked sausage links
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place frozen dinner rolls on a baking sheet and let them thaw and rise at room temperature for 4 to 5 hours until doubled in size.
  2. Brush the top of each roll lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking, then cover with plastic wrap while rising.
  3. Pat each smoked sausage dry with a paper towel to ensure the dough adheres properly during rolling.
  4. Flatten each risen roll into a small disc, place a slice of cheese, a sausage link, and a few jalapeno slices in the center.
  5. Roll the dough tightly around the filling, pinching the seams to seal completely.
  6. Let the assembled rolls rise for an additional 30 minutes, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
