  • 450g (1 lb) pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 225g (8 oz) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 15-20 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 230°C (450°F) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat for 15 minutes.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle until it reaches your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper or a pizza peel dusted with flour.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
  6. Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
