Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shaved or grated
  • 1/3 cup caesar salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts evenly on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  5. Place the chopped romaine lettuce into a large bowl.
  6. Add the caesar dressing and toss until the leaves are lightly coated.
  7. Top the salad with the sliced chicken, croutons, and shaved parmesan cheese.
