Deconstructed sushi bowl featuring seasoned rice, sweet crab meat, crisp cucumber, and creamy avocado slices.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked sushi rice
  • 200g (7 oz) imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1 medium cucumber, julienned
  • 1 large avocado, sliced
  • 2 sheets nori seaweed, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp spicy mayo
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package directions and let it cool slightly for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Divide the warm rice between two serving bowls.
  3. Top each bowl with an even portion of shredded imitation crab, julienned cucumber, and sliced avocado.
  4. Garnish with thin strips of nori and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
  5. Drizzle with spicy mayo and serve with a side of soy sauce.
