Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit by Kian Hiatt

Crispy fried chicken nestled in a savory cheddar chive biscuit with tangy ranch and hot honey.

Ingredients

  • 4 cheddar chive biscuits (prepared or store-bought)
  • 4 fried chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp buffalo wing sauce
  • 8 slices dill pickles

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the honey and buffalo sauce in a small bowl until smooth to create the hot honey.
  2. Bake or fry the chicken according to package directions or your preferred method until crispy and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Slice the cheddar chive biscuits in half horizontally and toast lightly if desired
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon of buttermilk ranch on the bottom half of each biscuit
  5. Place a piece of crispy chicken on top of the ranch, drizzle generously with the hot honey, and add 2 pickle slices.
  6. Close the sandwich with the top half of the biscuit and serve immediately
