20-Minute Soy Sauce Chicken Thighs by Khinskitchen
Crispy pan-seared chicken thighs glazed in a savory soy and oyster sauce reduction with aromatic garlic.

Ingredients
- 2 (240g) skin-on boneless chicken thighs
- 1/4 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then lightly dust the skin side with flour.
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until the skin is crispy and golden.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water in a small bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, turning the chicken to coat thoroughly until the sauce thickens and glazes the meat.
