Classic Cheese Chutney Sandwich by Khanawithlove
Toasted sandwich featuring vibrant coriander chutney and melted cheese for a quick, savory snack.

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh coriander leaves, packed
- 1 green chili
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 slices white or sourdough bread
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Blend the coriander, green chili, lemon juice, and salt with a splash of water until a smooth, spreadable chutney forms.
- Spread a generous layer of the coriander chutney onto one side of each bread slice until ready to serve.
- Place two slices of cheese onto the chutney-covered side of two bread slices, then top with the remaining bread slices until ready to serve.
- Butter the outer sides of the sandwiches evenly until ready to serve.
- Toast the sandwiches in a pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
