Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sliders by Keyanskitchen
Crispy fried chicken thighs tossed in a spicy honey glaze, served on garlic buttered slider buns.

Ingredients
- 900g (2 lb) boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 300g flour
- 150g cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 1 tsp cajun powder
- 4 tbsp butter (for hot honey)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper (for hot honey)
- 8 slider buns
- 4 tbsp butter (for garlic butter)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (for garlic butter)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 slices pickles
Instructions
- Combine yogurt, milk, egg, and hot sauce in a bowl; add chicken thighs and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Whisk flour, cornstarch, and dry spices (garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, bouillon, cajun powder, salt, pepper) in a large shallow dish.
- Remove chicken from marinade, dredge in flour mixture, dip back into the wet marinade, and dredge in flour again for a double coating.
- Fry chicken in oil at 350°F (175°C) for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 170°F.
- Melt 4 tbsp butter in a small saucepan, then stir in honey and 1 tbsp cayenne; toss the fried chicken in this glaze.
- Combine garlic butter ingredients and microwave for 30 seconds; brush the mixture onto the split slider buns.
- Assemble sliders by placing pickles and hot honey chicken on the buns, topping with the bun lid brushed with more garlic butter.
