Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich With Garlic Fries by Keyanskitchen

Crispy fried chicken breast drizzled with spicy hot honey on a toasted bun with garlic fries.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp red chili flakes
  • 1 lb frozen french fries
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 brioche buns
  • 2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fries according to package instructions in an oven or air fryer until golden and crisp.
  2. Whisk together honey and chili flakes in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat again in flour for a thick crust.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C) and fry chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Melt butter in a small pan, add minced garlic, and toss the cooked fries in the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches by placing the fried chicken on buns and drizzling generously with the hot honey.
