Simple and easy omelette featuring eggs, savory onion, and melted cheese, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and shredded cheese to the egg mixture and stir gently until ready to serve.
  3. Heat the butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted and shimmering.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the hot skillet, tilting the pan to spread evenly until ready to serve.
  5. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the edges are set and the bottom is golden brown.
  6. Carefully fold the omelette in half using a spatula over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
  7. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  8. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve immediately until ready to serve.
