One-Pan Creamy Chicken by Kamandoonz

Tender and creamy chicken cooked in a single pan, perfect for quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt and pepper until ready to serve.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened and translucent.
  5. Add minced garlic, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
  8. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet. Spoon some of the sauce over the chicken until ready to serve.
  9. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  10. Stir in fresh parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed until ready to serve.
  11. Serve the creamy chicken hot, spooning extra sauce over each serving until ready to serve.
