One-Pan Creamy Chicken by Kamandoonz

Tender and creamy chicken cooked in a single pan, perfect for quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup to taste
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt and pepper until ready to serve.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened and translucent.
- Add minced garlic, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
- Return the chicken thighs to the skillet. Spoon some of the sauce over the chicken until ready to serve.
- Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Stir in fresh parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed until ready to serve.
- Serve the creamy chicken hot, spooning extra sauce over each serving until ready to serve.
