Ingredients

  • 6 kiwis, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup melted butter, plus 1 tbsp for the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 370°F and lightly butter an 8-inch baking dish, about 1 minute.
  2. Toss the sliced kiwi with lime juice, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, cornstarch, and water until evenly coated, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir the flour, sugar, and melted butter together until small crumbs form, about 2 minutes.
  4. Spread the kiwi mixture in the prepared baking dish and dot with the remaining melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the fruit so the top is fully covered, about 1 minute.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling at the edges.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes, then serve warm with ice cream if desired.
