Warm Kiwi Crumble by Justtellycooking
Warm, caramelized kiwi dessert topped with a simple buttery crumble.

Ingredients
- 6 kiwis, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup melted butter, plus 1 tbsp for the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 370°F and lightly butter an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- Toss the sliced kiwi with lime juice, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, cornstarch, and water until evenly coated, then let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix the flour, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until small crumbly pieces form, about 2 minutes.
- Spread the kiwi mixture in the prepared baking dish and drizzle or dot with the extra melted butter.
- Scatter the crumble evenly over the fruit so the surface is fully covered.
- Bake for 45 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling at the edges.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then serve warm with ice cream or on its own.
