Warm kiwi crumble with spiced fruit filling and buttery crumb topping.

Ingredients
- 6 kiwis, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 tbsp melted butter, for the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 370°F and lightly grease an 8-inch baking dish with the 1 tablespoon melted butter.
- Toss the sliced kiwi with lime juice, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, cornstarch, and water until evenly coated.
- Let the fruit sit for 5 minutes so the juices start to thicken slightly.
- Mix the flour, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until small crumbly pieces form.
- Spread the kiwi mixture evenly in the baking dish, then sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit in an even layer.
- Bake for 45 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling at the edges.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving warm, ideally with ice cream.
