Salmon Bowl by Ash
Quick 20-minute salmon bowl with rice, vegetables, and a simple savory sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 salmon fillet (about 6 oz)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice if needed, then keep it warm while you prepare the salmon and toppings, about 10 minutes.
- Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- Sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until browned outside and just opaque in the center.
- Whisk soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, mayonnaise, and sriracha in a small bowl until smooth, about 1 minute.
- Assemble the bowl with rice, salmon, avocado, cucumber, and carrots, then drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately while the salmon is hot and the rice is steaming.
