Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 225g (8 oz) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 15-20 slices pepperoni
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 230°C (450°F) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for at least 20 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a piece of parchment paper to your desired thickness.
- Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil for a golden crust.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, ensuring even coverage.
- Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Transfer the pizza onto the hot stone or baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
