Ingredients

  • 450g (1 lb) pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 225g (8 oz) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 15-20 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 230°C (450°F) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a piece of parchment paper to your desired thickness.
  3. Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil for a golden crust.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
  7. Transfer the pizza onto the hot stone or baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
