Extra Cheesy Muenster Quesadilla by Joannamiss2

Flour tortillas filled with melted muenster cheese, toasted until golden brown and served in warm wedges.

Ingredients

  • 3 large flour tortillas
  • 6 oz muenster cheese, shredded or sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil

Instructions

  1. Place a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with butter or oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and distribute the muenster cheese evenly over one half.
  3. Fold the tortilla in half and cover the skillet with a lid to trap heat, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden.
  4. Flip the quesadilla carefully and cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and gooey.
  5. Remove from the pan, slice into wedges, and serve immediately while hot.
