Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta by Joandbart

Simple one-pot pasta with garlic, butter, broth, milk, and Parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet or pot over medium heat for 1 minute.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, milk, salt, and pepper, then bring to a gentle simmer over 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring often, until tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce turns creamy and coats the pasta.
  6. Finish with parsley and serve immediately while the sauce is glossy and hot.
