Honey-Chipotle Salmon Tacos with Garlic-Lime Crema by Jamievespamsrd
Smoky, sweet broiled salmon tacos paired with a vibrant cabbage slaw and zesty garlic-lime crema.

Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 chipotles in adobo, minced
- 1 tbsp adobo sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp tamari
- 3 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 6 small tortillas
- 1 medium avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler to high.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the minced chipotles, adobo sauce, honey, tamari, and avocado oil. Brush this mixture over the salmon fillet
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet and broil for 8 minutes, or until the edges are caramelized and the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
- While the salmon broils, toss the shredded red cabbage with cilantro and the juice of 1 lime in a medium bowl
- In a separate small bowl, combine the sour cream, grated garlic, and the juice of the second lime to create the crema.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or directly over a low gas flame for 30 seconds per side.
- Assemble the tacos by flaking the salmon into the tortillas and topping with the cabbage slaw, sliced avocado, and a drizzle of the garlic-lime crema.
