Spicy Chili Crisp Tofu Noodles by Itsuofficial

Spicy Chili Crisp Tofu Noodles made with silken tofu, instant noodles and green onion.

Ingredients

  • 150g silken tofu
  • 1 package instant noodles (like itsu noodle pot)
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red chili, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp itsu crispy chili oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the instant noodles according to package directions, typically by adding hot water and letting them sit for 5 minutes.
  2. While the noodles cook, gently slice the silken tofu. If desired, microwave the tofu for 1-2 minutes until warm, or leave it chilled.
  3. Finely slice the green onion and red chili.
  4. Heat the neutral oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the sliced green onion and red chili, frying for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the Itsu Crispy Chili Oil to the pan with the aromatics, heating briefly for about 30 seconds to infuse the flavors.
  6. Spoon the hot chili crisp mixture over the prepared tofu. Serve immediately with the cooked instant noodles.
