Crock Pot Smothered Chicken Legs by Itsthatrecipeguy
Tender chicken legs slow-cooked in a savory mushroom and herb gravy with sweet bell peppers.

Ingredients
- 8 chicken legs
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
Instructions
- Combine the chicken broth, gravy mix, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, cream of mushroom soup, and Dijon mustard in the slow cooker bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Add the chicken legs to the sauce and toss to coat thoroughly.
- Layer the sliced bell peppers and onions on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours, or on low for 5 to 7 hours, until chicken is tender and falling off the bone.
