Ingredients

  • 4 cup bread flour
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 2 cup warm water
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk bread flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast together in a large mixing bowl
  2. Add 1 cup of warm water and stir; add the remaining 1 cup of water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the dough, stir briefly to coat, cover with a lid or towel, and rest for 1 hour.
  4. Perform 4-6 stretch and folds by pulling the edges of the dough toward the center; cover and rest for 1 hour.
  5. Perform a second round of stretch and folds, then transfer dough to a greased 9x13 baking dish; cover and rest for 2-2.5 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  7. Drizzle top with olive oil, use fingers to press dimples into the dough, and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  8. Bake for 20-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
