Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole by Itsnormalfood

Ingredients
- 1 lb hot italian sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 lb spaghetti noodles, cooked per package
- 8 oz cottage cheese
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup kale, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Brown the italian sausage and ground beef in a large pan over medium-high heat until fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and the water into the meat pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- While the sauce simmers, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, parmesan, and kale in a bowl until uniform.
- Assemble the casserole by layering cooked spaghetti, the cheese mixture, and the meat sauce in the prepared baking dish.
- Top with extra shredded mozzarella and parmesan if desired.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
